July

July was a lot of fun with a Fourth of July party with the Meyers family, a trip home to Ohio for Grandma Goodin's 80th birthday and cousin Megan's bridal shower, and our anniversary!

Love these precious moments.

So many captions I could add...she sure does have some good expressions!! Joey says she will use that one on the boys!

Happy Independence Day! I made Malia get dressed up!

Malia said no more pictures, please!

Tired girl with her grandma!

Koa loved the pool (and he put his hat on by himself)!

I found this book tower that Koa built by himself. Pretty impressive!

Koa giving some kisses.

I think she is sucking her thumb...not something that he does on a regular basis.

Water gun fun!

Bath time!

Yay! One month old!
Malia's first softball tournament! Go daddy!

Koa and Grandma colored on the light post...nice Mickey Mouse! :)

Before (Mom and I decided to tackle a little project the last night she was here.)

Malia was a good girl and slept while we worked...all night.

After...I love it! Just need to add the hardware to the cabinets and paint the walls a new color! Thanks, mom! I couldn't have done it without you! :)

Koa having a staring contest with Kimo.

Pretty girl getting her beauty sleep!

More water gun fun with daddy!

Lovin her bath!
Two things I love about this picture: 1. her leg warmers and 2. her expression!

Malia is ready for her first birthday party! Princess attire, of course!

Koa's first Chuck E. Cheese experience!

That's Koa's smile!

Daddy and his girl!

One of my favorites!

Malia is yawning, but it looks like she is immitating the picture on her "resisting arrest" onesie!

Enjoying Busch Gardens with our buddies!

Malia is getting ready for football season!

Ohio Trip--Grandma Goodin's Surprise 80th Birthday Party and Megan's Bridal Shower

Koa LOVED Uncle Mark!

 Grandma and Grandpa Shafer
Koa with his cousins...I can't believe how big they are all getting!

Malia and her Uncle Brian.

Koa and Oakley had so much fun playing together!

Koa decided to do some stretching with the foam roller all on his own.  Daddy was so proud!

Uncle Brian pulling the boys in Great Grandpa Goodin's wagon that we used to get pulled around in! What great memories!

 Lovin the sand box!

Koa enjoying a special treat with Grandpa!

Malia met her twin cousins! They are just a little over a month older than her. It will be so much fun to see them grow up!

 Love her smiles!

I want to always remember this trip home. I was by myself with both kids. Koa was an angel on the first flight and both kids fell asleep on the second flight. I even got to enjoy a glass of wine!

Surprise anniversary flowers from Joey!

I set the table for our romantic dinner (after the kids went to bed)!

Joey brought home the best steaks ever and some delicious desserts!

I planted some cucumbers, zucchini and yellow squash for our anniversary...Joey kept saying he could love to have cucumbers growing in our backyard!

Koa made me squeeze his feet into his old light up dino shoes and wanted a picture with Belle.

Malia went swimming in the backyard for the first time. She was so cute in her adorable swimsuit from April!

Just hanging out with his sister.

Just got home from church and I had to get a picture of her in my favorite outfit.

Enough pictures, Mommy!

 Sleeping beauty!

Koa made a project and got to use scissors, glue, cut outs, and yarn!

He told me where to glue things...

I made him a pipe cleaner flower.

She is definitely filling out! Love our punkin doodle!

She sure does watch her brother.

Date night with Mommy and Malia at Chick-fil-a at the mall.
(Daddy worked late.)

Malia got dressed up! :)

Another sweet smile from a sweet girl!

 Lovin the bear mobile!
