Disney Marathon

After 310 miles of training for me (and 10 for Joey...yes, 10 thanks to all of his hard work at the CrossFit gym) we finally got to run our marathon together! We enjoyed every aspect of the trip--the wonderful hotel accomodations thanks to a travelzoo deal, some great family time, fun times with our friends, and of course...the actual marathon itself! Oh, and the after party was great as well! Here are the pictures we remembered to take. Too bad we didn't get any with the Taylors or Pattersons! Grr. Oh, and a BIG HUGE thank you to Jenn and Chris for watching Koa and Malia while we ran!

On our way to Publix, Koa was saying Chocolate Fountain...we looked over and saw this "fountain" malfunctioning in a retention pond!

Running through the castle is so much fun...and I love how you can see people running in this picture as well as all of the people stopping for photos!

Thought Koa would love the Buzz Lightyear running outfit...it's blurry because I didn' stop running to take it!

Still mile 20...they did a good job making it a memorable 20th anniversary.

And we made it! What a GREAT experience...so glad we did it together!
